From Stories to Jewels
Throughout history and across cultures, jewellery has carried meaning. It marks unions, preserves memories, tells stories, and becomes a fragment of the past carried into the future. Through our bespoke process, we translate personal stories into one-of-a-kind pieces, thoughtfully handcrafted to hold both memory and meaning.
The Bespoke Process
1 - First Contact
Begin by reaching out through the bespoke enquiry form or via Instagram direct message. Some clients arrive with a very clear vision, while others simply know they want to create something personal and unique. This first exchange is a space to discuss ideas, inspirations, stories, symbols, materials, or references.
2 - Conversation & Creative Direction
Together, we gradually shape the direction of the piece through conversation. Some clients prefer a fluid exchange through messages, while others choose to arrange a call or in-person meeting. I may ask questions about your inspirations, aesthetic preferences, personal memories, or the feeling you want the piece to carry.
3 - Sketches & Design Exploration
Once the concept becomes clearer, the design process begins. In some cases, the idea is strong enough to move directly into prototyping. In others, several possible directions may emerge, leading to sketches and design variations being shared. The client can then choose, combine elements, or request refinements until the final direction feels right.
4 - Prototype Development
A fully detailed prototype of the piece is then created by hand to establish the final proportions, textures, and overall presence of the design. This stage allows the piece to be refined and validated exactly as it will appear once completed in metal.
5 - Validation & Production
Once the prototype is approved, the final invoice is sent and the piece enters production in its chosen material : solid gold, sterling silver, or silver gold-plated. Every stage is then handcrafted slowly and intentionally using traditional jewellery-making techniques.
6 - Completion & Shipment
After the final polishing and finishing stages, the piece is carefully prepared and shipped. The result is a one-of-a-kind object created to carry memory, symbolism, and personal meaning.
